I have tapped into the K2's IF and am sending the resulting signal to a Softrock. The output of the Softrock is fed to a CW Skimmer. The K2's control cable is used by CW Skimmer to display the K2's current frequency. The connection is bi-directional as the CW Skimmer can command a change in the K2's frequency.
I am using MixW3 as my logging program. I would like to feed the frequency info coming from the K2 to MixW as well. Is it possible to accomplish this by tapping into the K2's cable and extracting the RXD and GND signals to be sent to a different COM port that is used by MixW? The OS (Win 7 Pro) won't allow both CW Skimmer and MixW to use the same COM port.
