Subject: Re: [Elecraft] SSB Net Frequency (14.316, etc.) Not bad here in AZ. The notch should take it out. I would say stay on 316.
John N1JM #2555 I keep seeing geographic messages about 316. It's not about geography. It's about your neighbor or the kid down the block. 14.316 is a standard ISA bus frequency. You'll find most IBM ATs, some older color monitors, and a few TVs use it. It may be the kid down the block that has a junker WINDOWS 95 he is trying to fix. Somewhere, sometime, people are going to have interference on that frequency. Is tradition so deep you can't move a few kHz? de Fred, AE6QL ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
