Press 2 times quickly to transfer both frequency and mode to VFO B. Then, press and hold to go into Split Operation.
Or, even easier, using a program like WinWarbler that decodes multiple traces, you can pick your transmit frequency and watch the receive side in a separate frame. That is the way I would do PSK split.
