I have written a program that blind ops can use with the K3 to give them accessibility to the K3 responses to changes, and also to read the menu/config settings.
This is done by parsing the strings the K3 returns into English, and putting them on the screen so that the user's screen reader program can speak them. Might be interesting to see how a K2 responds...... My K3 is fairly basic, having the KAT3, KBPF3, KTXCO3, and KXV3A. I'd like to get some feedback from a few users with more fully equipped rigs. One of the blind testers suggested some sighted op testing also. So if you're willing to install and run the program, and report to me any flaws you find, reply to me off-list. I'll need more than "It blew up, I dunno what I was doing" responses. :-D In the event of crashes, the app generates a report of what happened, but not why.
