My wife is shocked, but I've decided to sell my K-2, #3090. This rig may have a few minor scuffs and scratches (I think, it's been in a box for a year, don't remember, it might not have any scratches, but I'm not going to unpack it. hi hi). It's been around the world with me and used on field-day, and used in the car and camping extensively. About a year ago it developed an intermittent reception problem that became worse quickly. I did put most of this rig together myself, but for the life of me I can't get this one figured out. Started out a 10 watt model with automatic antenna tuner and became a 100 watt model. Both included. Has ANL and SSB. Also has a heil microphone, has a dent on the mike screen. It has the power cord and all the manuals and receipts. Transmits just fine at full power, about 110 watts. Issue I had once before was a poor solder joint. First $500 postal money order, gets it all. Already double boxed as I was going to send it for repairs but changed my mind as most builders want $200 for repairs. I'd like to get something with 6 meters anyhow. I have enjoyed the heck out of this rig. (And I do ask myself, "What the heck am I doing?" hi hi) But getting a new rig is fun too! It's double boxed and ready to go.
