I have heard the suggestion from Wayne that the KX3 is designed to be a super-compact user interface that sits on the operating desk, and the 100w PA/ATU can be anywhere, like under the desk. If you've ever tried to figure out how to drag stuff for a DX trip on an airline, you've got to love the design of this new radio system! Those you need a big boat on your operating desk are welcome to line up at the TenYaeComWood booths. I'm FAR happier with the options that Elecraft provides us.
