Hi Don, I use WSPR sometimes when propagation is doubtful to see if it improves or not. Works great on this K3. There is also a web page that displays all WSPR receiving stations and what stations they've copied: http://wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map. You can set the band your interested in, and center the map on your own lat / long. Very cool site!
I like 30m WSPR the best. YMMV. Note: Running very low TX power levels like 2W is common with WSPR. That's the 'WS' part! I run 5W or less at all times. 73, matt W6NIA On Sun, 29 May 2011 12:06:31 -0400 (EDT), you wrote: > >Does anyone use the wisper WSPR software with their K3. > >It looks kind of interesting to me to use as a way to look at what your >antenna may be doing on different bands. > >http://www.physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/index.html > > >Don >KD8NNU >______________________________________________________________ >Elecraft mailing list >Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft >Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm >Post: mailto:[email protected] > >This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net >Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
