They'd have to be ancient. The PC world has been almost totally SMD for 10 years now. Looking at an now 8 year old Athlon Thunderbird mobo I have in the closet,the only parts which aren't SMD are the caps around the socket 7 socket for power supply filtering and the voltage regulators.
You might be bale to find some old ISA slot peripherals. Hamfests are a good place to look as Hams never throw anything away, even when they should. Could have had me an old IBM RS-6000 and all the perifs for $250 bucks last year.
