Elecraft has given those of us with impaired hearing a whole new thing to help. I really urge anyone with hearing impairment and a K3 to spend some time with the RX EQ. Honestly, you probably can't make it perfect, although I long ago forgot what perfect was, but you *can* make it better! I know they tell us it's a +/- 16dB range, but that's 32 dB top to bottom, folks! Just turn the AF Gain up as you figure out your settings. And, do it slowly, half of hearing is in the brain, not the ears.
