I think Ed has articulated exactly what I need, but a lot more than what most users need. I was just counting HF TX antennas and came up with a total of 11, and have plans to add two or three more this summer. In the pro audio world, we do a lot with things that can be modularly expanded to fit various system configurations. Perhaps a 6x2 unit with that capability would work well.
Also, I have set up my station so that I can switch between two power amps for each radio -- a KPA500 and a legal limit tube amp. The KPA gives me instant on and 6M with minimal shack heating and low electricity cost, and the tube amp is for serious contesting, or when I need the extra 4 dB to get over noise on the other end. 73, Jim K9YC On 7/13/2011 12:05 PM, Ed Muns wrote: > 1.
