Rick, The sender's email has been compromised. Do not open the link. If you receive suspicious email like this, do not open the link, even if it is from a trusted source. There is too much email spoofing going on these days, and I do not know of any preventive other than your own computing safety - again, do not ever click on a link that look suspicious, even if the email looks like it has come from a trusted source.
