Ed, Can I suggest a work-around while you are waiting for the K3 memory editor to be changed. Note that what I see in the K3 Frequency Memory Editor is just a selection of DATA mode - I do not see the selection of the data sub-modes nor the selection of which sideband is to be used in DATA mode.
Store all your memories with the K3 Memory Editor, then back at the K3, retrieve the DATA mode memories one by one, change the DATA MD and store them back using the K3 buttons.
