This FD, my K2 quit receiving. The RX was working good and then just faded to nothing. All bands were affected...all modes. The fade took about 30 seconds to occure. Took the K2 home and put it on the bench (there are plenty of ops and radios at FD) and I could not get it to work. Went back to FD and spent the rest of the afternoon and now at 7 pm the radio has come back to life. Xmit seemed to work OK...but RX was affected. Also it seems the RX listens to loud CW signals but I cannot hear the weak one...right now. In the wide mode 1.50, I can hear quite well just about everything, but when I go to 700 the radio seems to get deaf. I listening to a loud signal now, but there is only one bar on the S-Meter lit. It is not dead, but it seams deaf. Any thoughts from all you gurus out there? I won't tell you what happened to my ICOM 756PROII - but I think a PLL is locking up on 7.0, 3.5, and 1.8. Above that...its good as gold.
