Check out the older surplus Motorola Micor speakers - HSN4032 and similar. Not the powered ones with a 15 watt amplifier inside! Most efficient speakers I have found. Usually available at hamfest and fleamarkets for less than $10.00. I have two wired in parallel for quasi-surround sound with my rigs. Almost too sharp for SSB but unbeatable for CW.
