I am a total rookie at RTTY but just started to setup MMTTY with my K3 to have a try at RTTY Roundup this weekend. I can get the K3 to transmit RTTY with the K3 in DATA A but when I try AFSK I don't get any audio. I am using a Signalink as the soundcard with PTT through the Signalink. It's my first try with the Signalink, but I got a great deal on it to use it with my K2 and think it's a better soundcard than the one I was using. I do have the Signalink K3 cable and internal jumpers. I am using the rear panel connections and have line-in selected.
I have been using K3 for WSPR and JT65 using DATA A, but never tried AFSK. I did match the mark tone pitch at 915 in both the K3 and MMTTY. I did a quick try with FLDIGI, which I have never tried before either and it seemed to work in either mode but wanted to use K1MM for logging since it interfaces with MMTTY. What could I be doing wrong?
