Miguel, The K3 can be powered off by software command - send it PS0; to turn off. The K3 cannot respond to commands while it is powered off, but you can pull the Remote Power On pin to ground by some other external device (ACC pin 8) then the K3 will turn on. If the software you are using implements the PS0; command, you can turn the K3 power off. I do not know if HRD implements that command or not.
