I would also think that if one has a DVI and VGA output on the monitor, you could hook up both a PC and The P3VGA outputs to the same monitor and alternate between both inputs using the usual switch located on the monitor itself. This assumes the P3VGA output functions like most video cards and tolerates being in/out of circuit without dropping the output. This would be helpful if you only wanted to briefly view the P3VGA output while using the computer.
