Like a lot of DX clubs, ours has a membership that includes a lot of older guys (just to give you some idea, there are 29 members on the Honor Roll), and many of them haven't bought a new radio since the days of the FT-1000D. Nonetheless, when a new rig does enter the roster, the K3 is the radio of choice, and its CW is the big selling point.
