Here's a real "two fer" comment. I recently built an ultra-stable VFO and use it to control the frequency of a 1954 Globe King 500 (which has been extensively key shaped!). In a recent QSO, someone who works me regularly with my K3/KPA-500 sent "b4 u told me u wr using the GK 500 i was sure u wr using the K3, the signal sounds great."
