Hi, I can confirm that you can use the FM filter to *receive* AM with excellent results up the max BW the DSP allows, 4.2kHz as I remember it. I don't have the 6kHz filter, no need for it unless you want to transmit AM. Buy your "well-equipped" K3, you'll be happy with it.
