If your concern is greater during travel, then may I suggest the covers 
by Rose Kopp.  They are dust covers (and thus are not waterproof), but 
they not only look great, but pad the KX3 quite nicely.
If you need something waterproof, may I suggest a pelican case.
A "quick and dirty" solution to the waterproofing cover without the 
pelican case is a gallon size freezer "Zip-Loc" bag (or other acceptable 
brand.
