No problems that I'm aware of and I've used it since it was beta. I'm a retired IT developer so I understand your feelings about beta stuff, but I've never had a problem with the K3 betas. I just make sure I save the current configuration of the K3 before updating the firmware.
Regarding HRD, I used to use it, but found that it was causing a lot of trouble with the K3. There have been several threads here regarding the K3, mostly regarding what you mentioned and it seems that HRD poles the K3 so fast that it causes trouble in the areas you mentioned.
