You will have to turn off CAT Polling for both "Filter Width" and 
"Filter Shift" in the NaP3 Setup. Doing this stops NaP3 from changing 
the filter settings on mode changes, but it also disables filter control 
from NaP3, and (understandably, since polling is disabled) the filter 
display on the NaP3 spectrum display no longer has any relationship to 
the actual filter settings on the K3.

What is really needed is a way to disable the automated filter control 
that takes place on mode changes but without disabling polling and 
manual control of filter settings.
