No need for any adapter to the K3 - just plug into the rear panel jacks and turn the rear panel mic bias on. Others have mentioned that moving the TX EQ first two bands all the way down, the 3rd band down a bit and adding a few dB for the upper 2 bands. You can find those recommendations in the archives.
