I put the KBPF3 and 6K filter in my K3. Prior to that it was dismal - even on local AM stations.
Now it is an excellent SWL receiver - wish I had this back in the hay days of all the foreign broadcasters (pre-Internet). No regrets on spending the extra dollars.
