I modified the PIC code in the QST article in 1999 that W2FS did for a keypad for the IC-706 for the K3. This was necessary for me to overcome the deficiency of the K3 that you STILL cant enter frequencies above 999.999MHz from the front Panel
I notice he now sells kits /ready built units for radios other than the K3 at http://www.qsyer.com/ he might be persuaded to do a K3 version?
