If I was to make the journey all the way to W&S I'd probably end up picking up something. But I can't see anything wrong with going to look at something in a shop and then buying it off the Internet, I do it all the time, if they charge a lot more than online. If there's a small premium, it's worth it for getting the item immediately, but if they are making a 30% profit or so, no thanks.
I don't think there's anything wrong about doing this at all.
