Hi Brian,

The problem you described after band changes or power level changes is
ABSOLUTELY a function of the TX gain setting. But the automatic setup
through the K3 utility might not solve the problem for you. In that case you
have to do a manual adjust. I had to do this on two bands for my amplifier. 

You can review the manual setting procedure at the top of page 62 in the K3
manual in the CONFIG:TXGN area of the configuration summary. You have to
first turn off CONFIG:TX ALC before you can make the manual adjustment.
Don't forget to turn it back on.
