Hello all, On the weekend of September 3rd & 4th, 2005, a very special event will take place. The ARCBS will host the first of its kind - ARCBS Covered Bridge Weekend. This will be the largest " on air " covered bridge event ever held! Covered bridges from Canada, CA, GA, KS, OH, NJ, NY, PA, IN, and TN will be on the air looking for QSOs.
If you work a covered bridge this weekend, the ARCBS will send you a nice covered bridge certificate. If you work at least ten covered bridges, you will receive a beautiful " Safari Pride Award." If you activate a covered bridge, you will receive an ARCBS Covered Bridge Activator Certificate. If anyone can activate ten covered bridges, the Safari Lion Activator Award is yours and it's just gorgeous! All the SWLers who submit a log will receive a SWL Certificate.
