I think I may have asked before about the need to match the filters in the sub-receiver with the main receiver, so please forgive the redundancy.
Slightly different question: How difficult is it to install the general-coverage bandpass filter and second receiver after the K3 is assembled? I was going to order the sub-receiver and the appropriate filters, but decided to put that on the back burner until I get more comfortable with operating the K3. However, I am considering the bandpass filter so that I will have general coverage.
