I learned many years ago it was always better to exceed customer expectations... there may be something to be learned here. I am not the boss, just some thoughts. Great to create expectations, but do be careful. The issue in the design and production arena is not knowing what the vendors will do for you. That is the mystery, so I certainly have empathy with Elecraft's team.
