The easiest and most reliable way for me to calibrate my K3 using WWV is to switch between sidebands when a tone is being transmitted. When the two tones are equal in pitch, the rig is calibrated.
Monty K2DLJ Just another note: My K3 will not produce a audio tone below 200 cycles in the speaker.. ( could be my ears) so finding a zero beat is impossible as I could be off that much above or below WWV trying to callibrate that way..... -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/Display-frequency-calibration-tp7563715p7563723.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
