Interesting question, Charles. I just plugged my INTREPID into my K3's "KEY" jack and got only dits, no dahs. All of my other bugs work properly.
All of my bugs - including the INTREPID - work properly when connected to my external keyer (Begali CW Machine) which I use instead of the K3 keyer. So I never noticed this before!
