I'm trying to do my first KX3 update from firmware 01.22 to 01.23 via the KXUSB.
The KX3 Utility is not finding a port. When I click on the Port pull down menu, no port appears. I tried first with the drivers in my Win 7 machine, and when that did not succeed, I downloaded the FTDI driver and installed that, and then shut down the computer. The KX3 was off and I disconnected the KXUSB. Reconnected, turned on the computer and then the KX3, and opened the KX3 Utility. No joy, no port. I recall issues with baud rates in getting a port with the K3 Utility, but I think the KX3 automagically sets baud rates to 38400 (p 38). Probably operator error somewhere...any advice appreciated.
