Hi Fred, The Weight control adds the same time extension to both Dit and Dah, therefore, as the weight changes, so will the Dit to Dah ratio.
I also find that the KX3 keyer does not have a Weight of 1 when set to 1.00, it's close to 0.80. The Weight control needs to be set to 1.20 to have a sending weight of one.
