You have not yet mentioned tapping "2" with MAIN:MIC SEL on to toggle the bias. The bias for FP.x and the bias for rP.x are independent and set by tapping "2" when you have either of them selected.
The bias on the front pin should toggle on and off with the menu display going back and forth between "FP.x bIAS" and "FP.x " . Does it not do this? 73, Guy.
