Paula, Just to let you know that Rene is not the only wizard at Elecraft support. Within a few hours of my e-mail, Howard called back, walked me through a few tests, and gave some suggestions. I tightened the screws on the bottom panel (just like the assembly manual already says to do) and my intermittent power problems seem to have vanished. I tend to not overtighten to avoid stripping threads, but I squinted hard and used my "screwdriver tight plus a quarter turn" method... Certainly the folks at Elecraft continue to be "the best Jerry, the best!" (from Seinfeld...) 73 ES GOD BLESS U ES URS DE KEN N4OI -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-intermittent-low-power-issue-tp7563274p7565835.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
