Hi I did this on one of the K1's I built a while back. To change from 150 kHz to 80 KHz you change a capacitor from 120 pf (I think) to 82 pf. If you want 100 KHz then use 100 pf. Use a NPO type cap or you may get too much frequency drift. I looked for 20 turn pots also but all of the pots I found are too big to fit on the front panel and cost $50 to $100. However there is a metal shaft version of the pot used in the K1 that has a better feel and is more rugged and only cost $13 from Mouser. I have installed this pot on the five K1's I have built for people.
