Happy Thanksgiving to all! After using my K3 for about 5 months I have some requested minor changes to facilitate operation. 1. The lock function is great as I often reach for the wrong dial when working split; however, I often forget I have it on. It would be beneficial to automatically set it to "OFF" when the band is changed. 2. The CW during SSB is a good function particularly on 6 meters, but it will normally transmit on the wrong sideband. Could the CW during SSB selection be altered to add CW-REV as a selection so you would have OFF, CW, and CW-REV? Or, just make the selection OFF and CW-REV. 3. Make the CW during SSB function work from both the KEY and PADDLE inputs. Now it only works from the PADDLE input. 4. Could a signal be sent to the KPA500 to put it into STANDBY if the mode is changed to TX DATA- DATA A as this data mode generally uses low power?
