Note that you have to go into CW mode to set up your preferences, then switch to SSB. I noted changing between CW and CW-REV made no difference - i.e. the tone received on a monitor radio remained the same. When in SSB the tone is correctly placed at your pitch frequency. (I am running latest versions of firmware, 4.60 right now).
So what you can do while in CW mode is set your PITCH which will change pitch others hear. SSB will honor that change and send that "new tone" to your listener. So if you are on a fixed frequency, say 50.125 in SSB mode, you can set the pitch to 300 and all others exactly on your frequency will hear a 300Hz note. -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-Requested-Change-Ideas-tp7566024p7566084.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
