Same for me. BUT -- when one of my old laptops failed (electrically, wouldn't turn on) on our California QSO Party county expedition last month, one of the guys fired up his much newer laptop. While the keyboard and mouse stunk, the screen was a LOT brighter than my trusty five year old Thinkpads. Since screen brightness is often a major problem in sunlight, even inside a tent, it has me thinking about popping for a newer model. Even if I do have to put up with a new OS.
