I have two cables. One goes from the k3 to the kat500. one goes from the kat500 to the kpa500.
Before getting the kat500, I had an elecraft cable going from the k3 to the kpa500. I moved that one to the kat 500. It is not missing pins. The cable I got for the kat500 to the kpa500 is missing pins. Are you saying it is supposed to be missing pins?
