But are they "fun"?

Dare I ask Will it Blend? http://www.willitblend.com/ ok this should only be tested in a virtual test environment whit no real Elecraft products, that would be a crime.

Ok seriously now I am weighing my options for the next big upgrade to my fairly basic K3-100 with tuner. I am thinking what will be the best bang for the buck

sub reciever?
I have multiple antennas at the cabin in the middle of nowhere, where local QRM from powerlines and neighbors is very low to nil so diversity would be nice. So2V in contests listening to both VFOs at once. and cheating on stations running split by finding his last QSO frequency. what else is the sub reciever good for I am sure Ive missed some good uses.

P3
Getting a broad view of the band over the last short time, and seeking out signals modes etc. much better for searching a apparently dead band this way than scanning several times and still missing a station. Visually finding the next posible S&P QSO in a contest Am I on the right track here? are there any more major advantages aside from the extra PF keys of course.

at this point I am leaning to a P3 first then sub receiver next.
