Phil – AD5X “The KX3 mic input uses a multi barrel jack plug which enables up & downchannel changing using buttons on the hand mic. I an regular stereo jack isplaced into the socket, the radios VFO start to change continuously. To usedigital modes, I need to use the mic input to connect to my sound card.There appears to be a setting on the Configuration menu to turn off theup/down and PTT but this is non functional.
