Christophe,

The voltage that you see in the display will always be lower than the voltage at the input power jack. There is a reverse polarity protection diode in the K2 and there is a slight voltage drop across the fuse. That will make the voltage inside the K2 0.4 to 0.5 volts lower than the voltage of your power source.
