I have just recently come from burying my brother at Arlington National
Cemetery, and the mystery of life-death is very much before my heart and
mind. It is not for any of us to say what is/will be the important point
of our lives. We can only attend to our day to day living. In this
regard, Don's day to day presence here on the reflector and at his work
bench have touched many of us, prompting our appreciation and thanks.
That Don's presence has been in service to a "hobby" must not distract
us from the most basic fact of his dedication to excellence and service
to others.
Don, I'm happy that you can read all this "in the flesh." For the rest
of us, let's do our best to be in our own, individual ways, the way Don
has been in his.
