Hi all.
I have just added the 5MHz board to the K2. At first I could get hardly any
power out on any band, but after switching on/off this cleared, at least for
CW. Apparently it's to do with the transverter option.
However, now on SSB there is still very little RF output, but there is mic
audio from the speaker (!), even without pressing the PTT. Is there some deep
menu opition I have some how channged, or have I done something else...? I
can't think of a real use for a mic-through-speaker option - it just gives AF
feed back.
I did the factory reset (I know, all the filters etc. must be reset now), but
it hasn't made any difference to the audio through speaker/very low SSB output
'feature'.
Can someone advise as to what I have done and how to undo it please?
