I got this question off list and I thought my answer would be of wider interest.

How do you see effects of 'NOTCH' on the P3?

Currently you get a wide green band on a blue background of the band scope which covers the frequencies your current filters are letting through. If the notch indicator divided that green band into two bands, with a blue space between them the width of the notch filter, I think it would be quite self explanatory. The waterfall below the the band scope will let you know what is going on in the places you have filtered out.
