Good Evening,
Another week has flown by with me going from train to aircraft to bus to car and back again. I visited Silicon Valley for a short while and got to see the Robert Noyce Building. Unfortunately I did not have time to tour the museum. Maybe next time. I found the weather in San Jose and Santa Clara just a little warmer than here but the skies were remarkably sunny. We did fly in West of Portland so I got to look at my house from the air before we dove into the Columbia Gorge, crossing Sauvie's Island and then to the airport. Off the plane and into Pat's car. Then we ate some hot Thai food. Yesterday 20 meters was fair to good at 1600Z. There was some noise at first but then it died off and the signals came up nicely. Too much work to do for either of us to run longer but the contact was good. After a night's rest in my own bed I feel much better. I will never be a world traveller. I am too much of a home body. But it is nice to work you all from this remote location. The electrical noise is low and the neighbors are far away. The deer and elk do not seem to mind too much either.

   Please join us:
Sunday 2300z (Sunday 4pm PDT) 14050 kHz
Visit our web site: http://ecn.visionseer.com/ for net details. Thank you Dan.

Soon I will update the website so it matches the above notice. That will most likely occur next week when the time change is imminent. Next week the time will be 0000Z Monday (Sunday 4pm PST) but the frequency will not change. Remember same local time unless you're in some state which does not observe Daylight Savings time.
   See you tomorrow,
      Kevin. KD5ONS
