That's right Jim: You can have the subrx use ANT1 or ANT2 out of the KAT3,
whichever is NOT being used for xmit or you can connect the AUX RF input.

See the KRX3 Installation and Operation manual. It's available on the
Elecraft WEB site here:

http://www.elecraft.com/manual/KRX3_Subreceiver_Install-Operate_Manual_Rev_E
.pdf

Pages 25 and 26 show the optional ways to connect the subrx antenna input
either to the KAT3 or to the rear-panel AUX RF input.

Page 43 shows the MENU settings required.

Subject: [Elecraft] [K3] Aux RF

I've got a little LF converter to play with an I thought I'd use it with the
AUX RF input and the SUBRX.

I've got a PR6 and beverages connected to the normal RX path and I don't
want to mess with that.

I seem to remember there was a wiring election when putting in the KAT3. Do
I remember that right? Taking one election meant not being able to use the
AuxRF. I could be confused...

Just thought I'd ask before taking the K3 apart unnecessarily.
